SPRINGFIELD — The FBI is investigating a commercial trucking school whose director called authorities because a large number of people taking license tests had names that appeared to be Middle Eastern.

Since the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, security efforts have included scrutiny of schools that train pilots as well as truck drivers who might be driving rigs carrying tons of fuel or hazardous materials.
Please, please tell me there's more to the investigation than this. It's hard to tell because the FBI isn't saying. Now here's the thing. Ethnic and immigrant groups tend to congregate. And once you reach a certain critical mass, word gets out, and more people of said group arrive. This happens in a lot of places with a lot of professions. So again, what exactly is the fucking problem here?
Unfortunately, Driving while Muslim seems to be enough of a charge for racists like Debbie Schlussel. I've been following Schlussel for years now. I think she actually got kicked out of Townhall (see link at right) for being too wingnutty. She's that bad, and like here cohorts Malkin and Coulter, Schlussel is a stone-cold racist when it comes to Muslims. Here's Debbie:
Fortunately, the FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force (a fancy name for a group that hasn't done much) raided the school, and the Missouri Highway Patrol has blocked the school from testing new students or issuing further licenses. Well, it's about time. What took so long?

Just curious, what are the safe professions for Muslims to take? As janitors, they could penetrate sensitive government and business sites.

well, whatever the case may be, i am hopeful that this is only part of a larger "sting" or effort by the FBI, but i think people are getting back into a pre-9/11 mode of thinking and that is a dangerous way to live. The ACLU says profiling is wrong, wrong, wrong, but look at the percentage (%60). How many soccer moms or grandmas/grandpas would be so eager to drive HAZMAT routes? Anyway, kudos to the FBI on this one (so far)!
What is this retard even saying? How many soccer moms want to drive trucks? I don't know. Probably not many. Isn't that why you see immigrants taking these jobs? And then of course we have the 911 card, which for the pants-pissers, is the beginning, middle, and end of history.
