So yeah, now I have a blog. Here's a conversation with my own inner demon that explains why.
Q:Why the hell are you doing this?
-Well, a few reasons. One is too much time. Now that I've been banned from schoolyards I need something productive to do. Mostly though, I need someplace where I can exercise all the random, irrelevant shit that goes through my head on a daily basis.
Q: Wait a minute. You don't know anything about computers you dumb asshole. Who did this?
-I asked Pete and he and his friend Reid set it up. Pete's now a US citizen, which means your vote now has just that much less importance.
Q: Pete's a US citizen? I thought he went to jail!
-Yeah a lot of people think that. It's called, "thinking ahead."
Q: Anyway, do you expect anyone to read this thing?
-No. That's not the point.
Q: So....you're essentially talking to yourself then.....
-Yeah. A little.
Q: What are you going to write about.
-Politics, books, The Mets, people who piss me off, my gout, the scuzzy green substance living in the shower, Sketch Ben, our sexual relationship, your Mom.
Q: Sounds...boring.
-Don't read it then. And that's not a question.
It begins.
